For those unaware, the action drama The Paradise is deeply rooted in Telangana’s culture and history. Its backdrop, setting, characters and themes draw heavily from the region’s rich heritage. Needless to say, writer-director Srikanth Odela himself hails from Telangana, adding an authentic regional flavour to the film.
Capitalising on this connection, the film’s team, including ‘Natural Star’ Nani, recently visited the famous Medaram shrine in Mulugu district. While the visit is clearly part of the film’s promotional campaign, the gesture has been well received by fans and audiences in general, further strengthening the film’s connection with Telangana.
On the commercial front, The Paradise is performing decently well on weekdays following an excellent opening weekend. Nizam has emerged as the best-performing territory so far, while the overseas market has witnessed a significant dip in collections. The film’s performance over the coming days will determine whether it can sustain its momentum at the box office.
